Foster care
UnitingCare Burnside’s roots are based in caring for children outside of their homes. With almost 100 years experience in out of home care, Burnside is an agency responsible for continuing to offer services for children who cannot live with their parents. Referrals are accepted from the Department of Community Services and a stringent matching process between assessed foster carers and children takes place prior to a child being placed with a new family.
